PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATION
To check availability and make a booking, please contact us using the form  here. For bookings made more than 9 weeks before departure, a deposit of 25% of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm your booking. You will then be notified by email of the balance owing, and this is due at least 8 weeks before departure. For bookings made within 9 weeks of departure, the full amount is payable to confirm your booking. The client making the booking shall be liable for full payment. Full payment/balance is payable by bank transfer or sterling cheque. PayPal is an acceptable means of payment for deposits only.


CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY BY LA TILLETTE
We will only cancel your holiday if
(a) forced to do so by unforeseeable circumstances, or
(b) because of non-payment by the client. In the case of (a), la Tillette shall not be responsible for compensation to clients for holidays cancelled at any time due to circumstances beyond La Tillette’s control i.e. threat of war, natural/technical disasters or similar events. La Tillette shall have no responsibility or legal liability to compensate the client for loss of opportunity to take the holiday.


CANCELLATION OF THE HOLIDAY BY THE CLIENT
A cancellation by a client will only be confirmed once it has been received in writing (email) by la Tillette.  All deposits are non-refundable. If cancellation is made after total cost of the holiday has been paid and more than 4 weeks before departure, a refund of 25% will be made, otherwise no refund will be issued. We strongly advise that you take out insurance at the time of booking against irrecoverable cancellation costs.


ALTERATION OF A HOLIDAY BY THE CLIENT
Amendments or alterations to a booking must be made in writing to la Tillette, or the relevant agent, from the person who signed the booking form originally.


ALTERATION OF A HOLIDAY BY LA TILLETTE
Should a material alteration to any holiday for which a booking has been made be necessary, the client shall be informed promptly. The client shall be offered the choice of accepting the alteration, or a full refund of monies paid, as long as the client has not yet arrived at La Tillette.


PERSONAL INJURY
La Tillette accepts liability for negligence of its agents or employees causing direct physical injury to clients only to the extent that it is obliged to do so by law. La Tillette cannot be held responsible for any other mishap to yourself or your property and in particular for the consequences of the effects of strikes, wars, riots, robbery, sickness, quarantine, government intervention or other such happenings.. We strongly advise that you take out appropriate insurance at the time of booking.


LIABILITY OF THE CLIENT
All clients undertake to behave with propriety and in such a manner as to cause no damage, distress, danger or annoyance to other clients, property and/or any third party. The contract of any client in breach of this clause shall be terminated immediately and la Tillette shall have no further contractual obligations. We reserve the right to recover from the client the cost of any repairs or replacements following any damage caused by any client.


LIABILITY OF LA TILLETTE
La Tillette accepts no responsibility for the actions of any of its clients and shall not be held liable for any claims made against them (or as a result of their actions) either by other clients or third parties.


INSURANCE

Clients must provide details of separate insurance arrangements on the booking form. This must cover all activites undertaken during their stay at la Tillette.
